2004 League Review: CSNLC
by Tim Polko

Today's Fantasy Rx

With third and then second place finishes during the first two years of the Fantasy Baseball Review NL Challenge, we expected our team to continue contending the renamed CREATiVESPORTS NL Challenge, or CSNLC, thanks to our fairly strong keeper squad highlighted by a total of $14 for Mark Loretta, Corey Patterson, Ben Sheets, and Carlos Zambrano. FAABing Milton Bradley for $98 at the beginning of the season similarly reinforced our hopes for contention, leaving us little reason not to remain competitive all season.

Today's Fantasy Rx: Although spending $98 to FAAB Milton Bradley cost us several useful players during the year, the injury problems of Larry Walker, Nick Johnson, and Austin Kearns made Bradley vital in keeping our offense strong. Don't be afraid to drop all your remaining FAAB on a single impact player at any point of the year.
