San Francisco placed both J.T. Snow and Ray Durham on the disabled list on May 25th. Snow initially injured his left knee during spring training when he slipped down a set of stairs at Scottsdale Stadium on his way to the trainer's room. He aggravated the injury during the Giants' May 20th game at Chicago. After reviewing the results of an MRI, San Francisco decided the 36-year-old needed arthroscopic knee surgery. Snow is pursuing an aggressive rehab program in which he has already begun running on a treadmill and participating in baseball activities including hitting and fielding groundballs. Barring setbacks, the Giants expect him to return prior to the All-Star Break, and he could be back before the end of June.
