Less than a week into the season, Minnesota lost three players to injury. Joe Mauer hit the disabled list on Wednesday, Matt LeCroy followed on Thursday, and Torii Hunter joined them yesterday. Mauer tore the medial meniscus cartilage in his left knee while sliding to catch a foul pop-up at the backstop during Tuesday's game against the Indians.
