Josh Beckett: Tue:@HOU(Wa.Rodriguez); Sun:PHI(G.Floyd?)
Miguel Batista: 3 Home vs. BOS; 3 Home vs. NYY.

Deploying the five doubles and Batista should help us here as we'll conserve our remaining three moves to boost our wins and strikeouts over the last two weeks. KRod flips for Ryan with Baltimore in Texas.

Offensively, Lee, Mora, Mench, and Podsednik all return to the lineup while Giles, Wright, Lane, and Edmonds join Iguchi on the bench.

Josh Beckett: Tue:@HOU(Wa.Rodriguez); Sun:PHI(G.Floyd?)
Brett Myers: Thu:ATL(Jor.Sosa)
Ryan Dempster: 3 Home vs. CHC; 4 Home vs. STL.

Despite Santana's broken nail, his upside against Detroit makes him the easy choice over Oswalt to join Carpenter, Willis, Beckett, Dempster, and the very cost-effective Myers.

With Molina, Morneau, Iguchi, Peralta, and Griffey contributing almost nothing, the only lineup swap looks like Brady Clark for Atkins with Colorado on the road.

Miguel Batista: 3 Home vs. BOS.

Rather than guess the winner of Burnett@Clemens, Santana, Clement, Carpenter, Willis, Beckett, and Batista will comprise our rotation. Lidge also returns for Ryan.

Morneau, Giles, Iguchi, Wright, and Edmonds fail to impress, leaving Mora and Podsednik to sub for Atkins and Holliday.

Santana and Oswalt appear more cost-efficient than Pedro to accompany Clement, Willis, Carpenter, and Beckett.

Colorado's road trip results in several lineup changes spurred by the need to replace Helton and Holliday. Hafner, Morneau, Chavez, and Mench will sub for the Rockies, Ensberg, and Jeremy Reed, and then a Buck/Mauer flop lets us skid under the cap. Hudson, Chavez, and Kearns stay seated.

Deploying Santana and Oswalt with the four doubles hopefully will compensate for lacking Beckett here.

Atkins reluctantly remains in our lineup as Ensberg joins Molina, Hafner, Giles, Crosby, Matsui, and Griffey on the bench. However, a simple and eminently logical swap of Lee and Jekins for Vlad and Ensberg enables us to remain under the cap.

Today's Fantasy Rx: Only two weeks of moves remain following tomorrow morning's CDM transaction deadline. If you still possess more than a couple purchases in any league, please consider at least adding a decent double start like Sabathia, Carpenter, or even Paul Byrd or Noah Lowry. Saving more than one or two moves until the final weeks of the season rarely bodes well for a successful conclusion to your fantasy year.
