We'll review minor league free agents and AAA/AA prospects from the National League West tomorrow.

Today's Fantasy Rx: Mark Prior, Brad Lidge, and Jose Mieses are easily the best prospects in today's group, and significant questions abound about each. Prior's never pitched professionally even though most scouts believe he could have been a 5th starter in the second half of 2001. Lidge and Mieses have both missed significant time due to injury, but if they can stay healthy, they both have top-of-the-rotation potential. Most of these teams have several great pitching prospects in A-ball, but in your minor league drafts, you need to focus almost exclusively on upper level players. Don't worry if you miss out on several quick-rising prospects. Drafting players more established and closer to the majors is a far better strategy to establish team depth than to worry about long-term prospects that you could probably just draft next year.
